Description
Ancient knife with a name that evokes the trade of the one who used it. This sturdy tool was in fact used to cut very thick leather for horse saddles. The curved blade allowed the knife to rotate like a crescent during cutting, which took place by applying a lot of pressure using body weight. The “saddler’s” knife has been reinterpreted for home use with a base in tone with the material of the handle, the “full cut” blade is also made of an immersion tang in the handle that is presented in a single block and connected to the blade by a stainless steel collar, which strengthens the structure. With a particular and curious shape, the “saddler’s” knife is one of Saladini’s leading articles.
